How do you play Batak with bidding?
Four players, a 52-card deck, no partnerships — everyone plays for their own score. The highest bidder picks trumps; take at least as many tricks as you bid and you score, fall short and you go down. After the chosen number of deals, the highest total wins.
How to play Batak: full guide- 1Everyone gets 13 cards. Bidding starts with the player to the dealer’s right: from 5 up to 13. Once you pass, you are out of the bidding for that deal.
- 2The winning bidder chooses trumps and leads the first card. If everyone passes, the player to the dealer’s right must play a bid of 4.
- 3You must follow suit, and beat the highest card of that suit if you can. With no card of the suit, you must play a trump.
- 4You cannot lead trumps until trumps are broken (this can be switched off when creating a table). The highest trump wins the trick; with no trump, the highest card of the led suit.
- 5Make your bid and every trick you take is worth 10; go down and you lose your bid × 10. Others score 10 per trick, and anyone with no tricks loses 50.

How many deals is a match?
The table creator picks 3, 5, 7, 9 or 11 deals (5 by default). After the last deal the highest total wins; tied players share first place.
What if everyone passes?
The cards are not redealt: the player to the dealer’s right must play a bid of 4 and chooses trumps.
What happens if my time runs out?
Every turn is 30 seconds, with one 30-second extension if needed. If that runs out too, you pass in the bidding, your longest suit becomes trumps, or your lowest legal card is played — the table never waits.
